ER-9 dB Music Filter Set

These 9 dB ER filters offer light protection - ideal for taking the edge off sound while keeping clarity intact. Great for smaller venues, classical performances, and everyday sound sensitivity.

These are the original “OG” filters from Etymotic Research - still used in some custom plugs and compatible with a wide range of older earplugs. They’re larger than the newer interchangeable filters we now use in our plugs, so be sure to check which type your earplugs are designed for.

If your current plugs use a wider, flat-faced filter, chances are it’s one of these. Still a solid option — especially if you’re replacing a worn-out set in an older pair of customs.
