FAQ
Do you work with insurance or benefits plans?
Some insurance plans do cover custom hearing protection, especially if they explicitly list it or offer a Health Spending Account. We’ve also seen success with reimbursement under extended benefits.
That said, most insurance coverage for “audiology” is focused on hearing aids, which are classified as medical devices. Custom earplugs like Drifters aren’t typically considered medical devices and may not be covered under standard audiology services.
We don’t offer direct billing, but we can provide an itemized receipt listing them as “Custom Hearing Protection,” along with our license number from the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC — which may help with your claim.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes — we’re by appointment only so we can give each client the time and attention they need. Book online here.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No referral needed. You can book directly - just choose the service that fits what you need.
What are your hours?
We’re available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. (by appointment only)
